The annual report of the Steering Board of the pensions (COR), which was due to be published on June 22, has been postponed to the beginning of the school year, Franceinfo learned on Friday (June 3rd) from a union source, confirming a newspaper report The Chained Duck et The Echoes. The body, made up of representatives of the social partners, parliamentarians and experts, was set up in 2000 and publishes an annual report on the issue of pensions.

This year, the COR did not receive the government’s macroeconomic forecasts for growth, payroll and inflation. However, these forecasts allow it to establish its financial assessments. The executive was due to send these forecasts to the European Union in April, but will not do so until July. This delay is partly due to the election deadlines and the outbreak of war in Ukraine, which is disrupting economic forecasts. It is also an indication of the government’s willingness to delay the very sensitive pension reform in September.
