“I do what I love and when I like works I take and I try to convince the audience.” The gallery Elyette Peyre has chosen to exhibit, between June 10 and 30, the paintings of Zineb Guérout.
“His painting is a bit austere, with dams, borders, wires, but if you go inside, you discover a very nice sensitivity.she continues, still as passionate about her profession. “Zineb is a cultured woman who tells a little bit about what’s going on, with all these closures, but there’s always a glimmer of hope, a flash of lightning that’s coming. There’s to see it and then the fire.”
“There’s the see and then the fire”
The two women chose the name of this exhibition together. “Nature regains its rights” can refer to this period of confinement linked to the Covid crisis and this desire to find it once released with this impression that we will relive.
Zineb Guérout was born in Morocco. She took classes at the Hashpas Workshop in Paris, and then drawing and painting at the City of Paris Fine Arts Workshops. She is a permanent artist of L’étangd’Art, in Bages, La Toupie, in Paris and La Maison du ruisseau, in Conilhac-Corbières. And has exhibited in Paris, in the galleries Saint-Charles de Rose, Claude Dorval and Akié Arichi as well as in the province, in particular, in Béziers.
The people of Biterro were able to discover his work in the Didier Bresson Gallery, at the Atelier porte ouverte and even at the Espace Riquet, in 2012, this magnificent place that now houses the bullfighting museum, rue Massol.
Today, she returns to rue du 4-Septembre, still in the heart of the city of Biterro in the last gallery of Béziers.
