French striker Allan Saint-Maximin is reportedly in touch with an English Premier League side next season.
Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici is looking forward to a sensational hit during the mercato by attracting Allan Saint-Maximin, Newcastle United’s whirling winger.
Recruited in August 2019 from Nice, Saint-Maximin made a huge impression in the Premier League after several outstanding performances with the Magpies.
According to Football.london media, Paratici is a big fan of the former Stéphane, who scored five goals and delivered five assists in his 37 appearances in all competitions for Newcastle in 2021/22.
Not to be missed
The Spurs need reinforcements in attack
Although it operates mainly from the left wing, Saint-Maximin also has the experience of playing on the opposite side and also in a more axial role. Its versatility could be a great contribution to the Spurs. And if he joins this team, he would have the opportunity to discover the prestigious Champions League.
If Steven Bergwijn leaves as planned this summer as Ajax are looking to repatriate him, the Spurs will need to strengthen their line of attack as they will need to cover players such as Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski and Harry Kane.
The arrival of Ivan Perisic will also provide attacking solutions for Tottenham, but Antonio Conte has mostly brought him in to line him up in a left-back role.
