Transfer contacts from Android to new Android phone
Since most Android phones come with Google services pre-installed, in most cases the contact details are likely to be available in the Gmail account associated with the device.
If you also have the option to sync contacts between devices enabled, all your contacts will be instantly available on your new Android phone as soon as you log into your new device with your Gmail account.
If your Android phone does not have Google services (Chinese origin), you can use vCard to transfer contacts to new Android phone.
1. Transfer contacts to new Android phone with Google account
The easiest way to transfer contacts to a new Android phone is to use the sync feature available in your Google account.
1. Open settings > scroll down and tap accounts.
2. On the Accounts screen, tap Google.
3. On the next screen, tap yours Gmail account.
4. On the sync screen, make sure it is contacts is switched on.
Once you turn on Contacts from the sync screen, all your existing contacts will be synced to your Google account.
5. Start yours now New android phone and you will be asked to provide your Google account information. Once you log in with your Google user account All your contacts are available on your new Android phone.
If you are using a different Gmail account on your new Android phone, you can either add the Gmail account to your new phone by going to settings > accounts > Add account or use other methods as given below.
2. Transfer contacts to new Android phone with vCard
With the Contacts app on your Android phone, you can backup contacts to a .vcf file and send the file via email, WhatsApp, Skype and other methods.
1. open that contacts App on your Android phone.
2. Next, tap the menu icon > import export option in the drop down menu.
3. Tap on the pop-up Export to .vcf file Possibility.
4. On the next screen, you can rename the Contacts.vcf file (if necessary) and tap SAVE UP.
5. Now open the Downloads folders on your Android phone.
6. Once in the downloads folder, select the downloaded one Contacts.vcf file and tap the share icon.
7. Select in the pop-up window gmailWhatsapp, messages or other methods to send the contact file.
8th. If you choose Gmail, you can email the contacts file to yourself.
In any case, make sure that the contacts file is received on your new Android phone.
9. Now open the Contacts app on your new Android phone > tap menu icon > import export.

3. Transfer contacts to new Android phone with Bluetooth
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on both phones (settings > Bluetooth > toggle ON Bluetooth), keep the phones close to each other and follow the steps below to transfer contacts to new Android phone.
1. open that contacts App on your Android phone.
2. Next, tap the menu icon and tap import export option in the drop down menu.
3. Tap on the pop-up Share all contacts option and this saves all your contacts in a .vcf file.
4. Once the VCF file is saved, open it notifications and tap Export contacts complete.
5. In the pop-up that appears, tap Bluetooth.
6. On the next screen, tap yours New android phone.
7. Now accept the file transfer request on your new Android phone and tap Accept.

If your new phone is made by Samsung, all of your contacts should be automatically transferred to the Contacts app and the .vcf file will be deleted.
