Save webpages as PDF on Android phone
During your commute, you might want to get some work done or spend the time studying and keeping up to date with everything that’s happening in the world. However, the problem is that you don’t have an active WiFi connection and using cellular data will cost you a lot.
Luckily, there is a solution to this problem when you can plan ahead and save webpages as PDF on your Android phone or tablet for offline reading.
As mentioned above, the solution is right on your Android phone and all you need is Chrome or Firefox web browser.
Save webpages as PDF with Chrome browser
Google’s Chrome browser doesn’t have a built-in save as PDF feature, but you can still save web pages as PDF files using the print feature.
1. open that chrome Browser on your Android phone or tablet
2. Next, open the site you want to save as a PDF document for offline reading.
3. Once the webpage loads on your phone, tap 3 point Icon located in the top right corner of your screen (see image below)
4. Tap on in the drop-down menu To press.
5. Make sure of this on the next screen Save as PDF is selected as the printer on your Android phone (see image below)
6. Then tap download as PDF Icon for saving the webpage as a PDF document on your Android phone (see image below)
Save web pages as PDF with Firefox
Saving a web page as a PDF document is a bit easier in the Firefox browser.
1. open that fire fox Browser on your Android phone or tablet
2. Next, open the site you want to save as a PDF document.
3. Once on the webpage, tap 3 point Icon located in the top right corner of your screen (see image below).
4. From the drop-down list, tap on book page.
5. Then tap Save as PDF (See image below)
Now that you have saved the web pages as PDF documents, the next step is to get used to accessing the saved web pages for offline reading.
Access webpages saved as PDF for offline reading
On most Android phones, the PDFs are usually stored in the My Documents folder (on Samsung phones) or the Downloads folder (on other Android devices).
If your phone uses the My Documents folder, you can follow the steps below to access web pages saved as PDFs.
1. Tap the All apps Icon located in the bottom menu on your Android phone’s home screen.
2. Next, tap the Tool folder.
3. In the Tools folder, tap my files
In this folder you will find all web pages saved as PDF. Browse the list of files and choose the PDF you want to open.
As mentioned above, most other Android phones store web pages saved as PDF documents in the Downloads folder, which you can easily access by following the steps below.
1. On the home screen of your Android phone or tablet, tap All apps Symbol.
2. Then tap Downloads.
In the Downloads folder you will find all websites saved as PDF documents. Browse the list of downloads and locate the PDF document you want to open.
Access web pages saved as PDF with Adobe Acrobat
An easy way to access webpages stored as PDF documents on your Android phone is to download and install the Adobe Acrobat app on your device.
1. Download the Adobe Acrobat app from the Google Play Store and install the app on your Android device.
2. Next, open the Adobe Acrobat app on your Android phone or tablet
You will see a list of all the webpages that you have saved as PDF documents on your Android phone. Scroll through the list and choose the web page you want to view.
