How to Add Photos to Notes on Mac

With the Notes app on Mac, you can make your notes more useful and informative by adding photos, videos, and other attachments. In fact, there are multiple ways to add photos and videos to Notes on Mac.

The Notes app is popular among Mac and iPhone users for its simplicity, portability across multiple devices, collaboration features, and ability to password protect information.

For example, you can use the Notes app on your Mac to quickly create a to-do list and access it anytime on your iPhone or iPad. Likewise, the Notes app can be used to store reference material and all sorts of useful information.

As you will agree, adding pictures and videos to notes can improve the quality of the information in your notes and make them more useful.

Add photo to notes using Add Photo option.

The Notes app has an Add Photo icon that makes it easy to browse photos in the Photos app on your Mac and add them to your notes.

1. open that Remarks app on your Mac.

2. Next, open an existing one note or start a new note by clicking New note icon (See image below).

3. Once the new or existing note is open, click Add photo icon in the top menu bar.

4. Clicking the Add Photos icon takes you to Photos app on your Mac.

5. Find the photo you want to add to this note and simply drag it onto the open note.

Let’s say you’re browsing the web and come across an image that you want to save to your Mac with a note. In such a case, you can use the Share option to add photos to a note on Mac.

1. Right click on the photo you came across while surfing the internet.

2. In the menu that appears, hover your mouse over the Split option and then click Remarks in the side menu.

3. On the next screen you can add comments to the image and click Save on computer.

This is an easy way to save photos you come across while surfing the web in a note on your Mac.

Follow the steps below to add photos to an existing note on your Mac.

1. open that Remarks app on your Mac

2. Next, open an existing one note you want to add photos to.

3. If the note is locked, you must first unlock the note by typing your note password.

4. Once the note is unlocked and open, visit the website that has the photo you want to add to your existing note.

5. When you find the photo, right-click on it photo and then hover over the Split option and then click Remarks in the side menu (see image below).

7. From the drop-down list, click the Existing note you want to add the photo to, and then click Save on computer button (see image below).

Before clicking the save button, you can also add your comments about the image, which will be saved under the photo in the notes.

Perhaps the easiest way to add photos to notes is to use the copy and paste commands.

1. Use your web browser to go to the website that has the photo you want to add to Notes.

2. When you find the photo, right-click on it photo and then click Copy the picture Option in the displayed menu (see image below).

Note: You can also copy photos to Notes from the desktop or from any folder on your Mac.

3. Next, open the Remarks app on your Mac

4. Open an existing one note or start a new note by clicking New note icon (See image below).

5. Next, right click on your Mouse in the note and select the Paste option from the menu that appears.

Note: You can also press Command + V Keys on your Mac’s keyboard to insert the image into Note.
