This Sunday, the Mona Lisa, Leonard de Vinci’s iconic painting, was attacked by a man in disguise. According to the testimony, the man was disguised as a woman and got up from a wheelchair. He first tried to smash the glass that protected the painting before throwing a cream pie on it.

This Tuesday, May 31, a video showing the attack was posted on social media.

As a reminder, the table was not damaged. The man said he wanted to warn of the destruction of the planet by trying to destroy one of the most remarkable works in the Louvre Museum.
