The issue of AirPods disconnecting from Windows 10 computer has been reported by many users.

This annoying problem occurs more frequently when you are watching a movie, watching videos on YouTube and also while listening to music.

In a typical case, the AirPods appear to be connected in the Bluetooth settings, but they frequently disconnect and stop working entirely.

1. Power off and restart

In many cases, the AirPods disconnecting issue from Windows 10 can be fixed by shutting down the computer and restarting it again.

2. Run Bluetooth troubleshooter

3. Update AirPods driver

Right click on the Start button and click device manager. On the Device Manager screen, expand Bluetooth Right-click entry AirPods and click update drivers Possibility.

Windows 10 will automatically search for drivers and install them on your computer. Restart your Windows computer and check the results.

4. Install updates

Let Windows check for available updates and install them on your computer. After installing updates Start anew your computer and see if the iPods are now working properly.

5. Switch to a different power plan

If your computer is set to use the manufacturer’s power plan, switch to a balanced power plan and see if that helps resolve the issue.

Go to settings > system > select Performance & Sleep tab in the left pane. In the right pane, scroll down to the Related Settings section and click Additional power settings Shortcut.

6. Remove and re-add AirPods

Put the AirPods back into the charging case and close the lid. After 1 minute, open the lid and leave settings > Devices > select Bluetooth and devices tab in the left pane. Select in the right pane AirPods and click Remove device Possibility.

After that go to settings > Devices > select Bluetooth and other devices in the left pane. Activate in the right pane Bluetooth and click Add Bluetooth or another device Possibility.

On the Add Device screen, click Bluetooth Possibility.

Select the Add Bluetooth Device option.

Next, press the pair button is located on the back of the AirPods case for a few seconds until you see Bluetooth Headphones on the Add Device screen.

Once the AirPods are detected, click headphones and let Windows install the necessary drivers.

After the AirPods are added, click Finished to exit the screen.

7. Disconnect other Bluetooth devices

The problem could be due to interference from other Bluetooth devices connected to your computer. To rule out this possibility, go to settings > Devices > separate others bluetooth devices from your computer and see if that helps resolve the issue.

If the problem is resolved, reconnect the Bluetooth devices one by one to identify the particular device that is causing the problem on your computer.
