The attack took place on Saturday morning as Lily was “camping with her family” in the eastern part of the state, her uncle Alex Mantsevich wrote on the GoFundMe crowdfunding site.
Numerous operations and coma
“She was airlifted to hospital with multiple injuries to her upper body and face,” she underwent numerous surgeries and was released from a coma on Monday, “well aware of what happened to her.”
Her uncle’s call for financial help, for the cost of health in particular, is accompanied by photos of the girl on her hospital bed, her face constellated with wide sores resembling severe scratches.
